Head Bolt Thread Repair - The 3.2 and 3.6 Pentastar engines used in Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Mopar vehicles have a common problem with failed aluminum threads for the head bolts. See the Time Sert head bolt thread repair kits listed below. As always the regulars Time Sert kit is for a first time repair when no other competitive brand has been used previously making the hole bigger. The Big Sert kits are for second time repairs and they still accept the original size head bolts.

Oil Pan Thread Repair - The most common size drain plug threads in most Chrysler vehicles is the M14x1.5. See the 1415C listed below for that kit's description. Verify your size before ordering.

Spark Plug Thread Repair - The most common size spark plug threads used in Chrysler vehicles is the M14x1.25 with taper seat plugs. The Time Sert kit would be the 4412 series. 4412 "E" is for longer tooling when the plug is down in a well. The 4412 without the "E" is shorter tooling for when the plug is closer to the surface and longer tooling is not needed. Again the Big Sert kit is for a second time repair. The Big Sert kit number is the 5141. As with the regular Time Sert kits the "E" means extended tooling, so that would be the 5141E.

Brake Caliper Bolt Threads - The 1912 Time Sert kit is used to fix a common problem with stripped threads for caliper bolts in Chrysler steering knuckles. Time Sert solid threaded bushing type inserts are much more dependable than Helicoil's thin wire coil. *Note if a previous repair like Helicoil has been used the 1912 will not be big enough because it is only thick enough for a first time repair.
