Installs Harmonic Balancers or Crankshaft Pulleys that are pressed on the crankshaft. Works on a wide range of domestic some import harmonic balancers. Universal Crank Pulley/Harmonic balancer installer designed to help reduce the risk of damage to the pulley or crankshaft. Fits many Ford, Chevrolet, Dodge vehicles. Adapter sizes include Metric 12 x 1.5, 14 x 1.5 and 16 x 2.0. Standard sizes include 7/16" x 20, 1/2" x 20, 9/16"  x 18, 5/8" x 18 and 3/4" x 16. One end of the adapter screw threads into the end of the hollow end of the Driver Screw and the other end goes into the crankshaft (where the crank bolt normally goes). Installs pulleys without the use of a hammer, air chisel or any other method that may cause damage leading to an expensive repair. This puts less stress on the crank shaft threads as opposed to using the crank bolt to press the pulley on. See the instructions below for more details of proper use.
