The outboard-mounted brake drums now used on class 7 and 8 tractor and trailer brake systems can weigh up to 120 lbs. and it's tough to get a good grip on them when removing or installing. A costly back injury and a workman's comp. claim can result! Now there's a better way. Just roll the No. 5017 drum dolly into position flip the metal hook and roll it away. Reinstalling drums is just as easy. Roll the dolly into place, line up the studs with the holes in the drum and push it into place. Handles all popular 15in. and 16 1/2in. drums. A 5in. height adjustment telescoping handle (adjusts from 37in to 55in) ball bearing wheels pneumatic tires and rugged steel construction are just a few of the features of this American-made product.
