The Internet is a wonderful thing. The problem sometimes is knowing the right name to search in Google, Yahoo or whatever search engine you prefer to use. Many times the manufacturer's of products come up with their own names and/or spelling for products, in example "booster pac". While this can help the branding of their products it doesn't make them any easier to search on the Internet, unless that specific branding name or spelling is being used.

One of the best selling battery boosters is the Jump-n-Carry KK JNC4000 and yes the manufacturer calls this a "battery booster". The term "battery booster" is a highly searched term for this product, but many auto technicians I know personally, call them "jump boxes". DenLors is always working toward making items easier to find on our website, that's why we have included the words "jump box" in the product name so it will come up under that search term as well. It is not practical to call every "jump box" a jump box battery booster booster pack car battery jumper boost pac thingy, but we promise to try to make it as easy as possible to find our products without becoming too ridiculous.

On a more serious note, keep in mind when purchasing a car or truck jump box on-line that free shipping on these heavy items is a nice benefit, since most jump boxes weigh between 18 to 25 pounds. We want our customers to shop around and be confident that they are receiving a great deal and great service from us. (after you've shopped around, see our prices on the battery boosters on the market)

When shopping and comparing be advised that there are a lot of inexpensive jump boxes on the market that are of inferior quality. We sell jump boxes to professional automotive technicians, car lots, marinas, the US government, etc. so we will only sell the best quality. We also offer a discount on our already near wholesale prices with purchases of $1,000 and up, excluding any sales tax or shipping costs that may apply. If a custom quote is needed for your business or government office please use one of the methods listed on our "contact us" page.

Q: What type of battery does my JNC4000 have and do I need to add water to it?

A:  The JNC 4000 jump starter has an AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat) type sealed lead-acid battery which uses a glass-mat separator to absorb all of the electrolyte. Because the acid is contained, an AGM battery will not leak or spill so it doesn't need water added.

Q: Should I let my jump box run down completely before charging?

A: To prolong the life of the jump starter, charge it after every use. The type of battery that is used in jump starters do not loose capacity from being charged too often like some battery types do.
Car battery boosters are known as jump boxes, booster packs and booster pacs, the jump box batteries are sealed and leak proof and do not
